The code and database are yours, you can move them to any developer, both to us and away from us.
Shopify or WooCommerce for your store

We write this even though we sell only one of the two.
The choice is not about which platform is better
Whether you sell abroad and in several currencies.
What your turnover is now, and what you expect in two years.
How many products and variants you keep in the catalogue.
Who will change prices and stock after handover.
Whether you need something the platform does not allow.
How much it matters that the store stays yours.
When Shopify is the right choice
You want to be selling within a week.
You sell in several countries and currencies.
You have no one to look after the site.
What it actually means that the store is yours

Trust is not claimed, it is shown.
Common questions about Shopify and WooCommerce
Is Shopify faster than WooCommerce?
Not on its own. Speed is dragged down by the number of add-ons, a heavy theme and unoptimised images, and that happens on both platforms. The difference is that on Shopify you cannot touch part of it, and on WooCommerce you can.
What does Shopify really cost per month?
The plan subscription is the smallest part of the bill, and pricing changes so check it with Shopify directly. What usually is not counted upfront are paid add-ons, the theme, and a per-order fee if you do not use their own payment system. For a small store the real monthly figure can end up several times the price of the plan itself. Count the cost over three years, not over the first month.
Why do you build in WooCommerce?
Because the store stays yours. No subscription that rises with turnover, no commission on sales, and if tomorrow you want another developer, you take the whole site with you. It is a decision you do not see in the first year, but in the third.
Do you build Shopify stores too?
We build in WooCommerce. If after talking it turns out Shopify suits you better, we will tell you openly and will not charge for the assessment. We would rather point you to the right thing than sell you the wrong one.
Can you move from Shopify to WooCommerce?
Yes. Products, customers and orders are migrated, and old links are redirected so you do not lose search rankings. Most of the time goes into cleaning up the data, not the build. The same holds in the other direction.
Which ranks better on Google?
Neither ranks on its own. Both give control over titles, descriptions and URLs. The difference is that on WooCommerce you have access to everything, while on Shopify the URL structure comes fixed.
