A hotel website with direct booking

We've built sites for hotels and apartments on the coast and in the mountains.

Commission isn't the problem for guests you couldn't have won yourself
For that guest you pay commission for no reason. The answer isn't a war with the intermediaries, it's having a booking system on your own site that actually works, at a price no higher than theirs, with a reason to book right there. For most properties that's the single change that pays for itself immediately.
Does this sound familiar?
Almost all your bookings come through intermediaries.
There's no booking on the site, only a contact form and a phone number.
The prices on your site and at the intermediaries don't match.
The site isn't in the language of the guests who actually come.
The photos are from before the last refurbishment.
You don't know how many guests come direct and how many come with commission attached.

FAQ
Can the site connect to the calendar I already use?
In most cases it can, depending on the system. We check that before the quote, because both the price and the way we work depend on it.
Can the price on my site be lower than at the intermediaries?
Intermediaries’ rules differ and change, so you check that with them. What you can almost always do is add something to a direct booking that they don’t offer, and that usually works better than a discount.
How many languages do I need?
As many as show up in your actual bookings. An extra language isn’t just a translation, it’s maintenance too, so every unnecessary one keeps costing after the build.
When should the site be built?
Out of season. The site should be finished and measured before the rush starts, because you don’t test in season, and any downtime costs more than a full year of maintenance.
Do you work with apartments and rural guesthouses too?
Yes. The logic is the same, only the scale is smaller: a booking system that works, a reason to book direct, and the languages of the guests who actually come.
