Nomad Accessorize is a local brand that makes and sells planners, t-shirts, badges, greeting cards, tote bags, challenge cards, mugs and stickers. They already had a WordPress site, but one built in a hurry, with a pile of things running under the surface that got in the way of both selling and sleeping soundly. We redesigned it, sorted out what was under the hood and brought the store to a state where it can grow, not just survive.
A WordPress working against the store
The site was on WordPress, but put together carelessly. It was overloaded with plugins, forty of them, and some ran on pirated licenses the owner did not even know about, a risk both for security and for the site simply stopping one morning. Checkout, the place where the money is made, did not work properly. Permalinks were half in English, half in Serbian, and one part of the site was written in Cyrillic, another in Latin script. To a customer that looks untidy, and to search it looks like the site is not sure what it is either.
What we did
First we put everything in order: one script, consistent language and clean permalinks across the whole site, and then we halved the number of plugins, from forty to twenty, taking out both the risk and the ballast that was slowing it down. Then we turned the store into a machine that sells and collects on its own. We set up card payments and connected the site to the D Express courier service, so an order goes from cart to courier without anyone retyping it. For those who pay via IPS, the payment slip is now generated automatically the moment they order. We added an upsell and a bump order to the buying flow to lift the average cart, switched on automatic review requests after purchase, and set up Cart Abandonment Recovery, which nudges the customer who stopped halfway. And finally, we moved all the data from the old site to the new one, with nothing lost.

The result
The site is now faster, tidier and more stable, and its SEO position and traffic have gone up. Instead of patching and firefighting, the store runs as a system that holds up even when the rush comes.
